Lumesmart was one of the companies invited to join the Women in Cleantech event at the Dubai Expo in Jan 2022. This great event was a partnership between Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) with the Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC) and the Consulate General of Canada in Dubai.

First Iranian-Canadian Business Owners Roundtable
In support of Iranian-Canadian business owners who are effected by COVID-19, Shohreh Sabaghpour, the Board of Director and Chair of the Iranian Women Organization of Ontario (IWOO), initiated the first Business Roundtable in Farsi Language with Michael Parsa, MPP for Aurora, Oak Ridges and Richmond Hill.

International Women’s Day
In Celebration of International Women’s Day “Women in Leadership: Creating a Vision for an Automated World” by IEEE Women in Engineering and GYBO Robotics Network.
Shohreh was invited by Maryam davoudpour, Professor and Chair of IEE Toronto Section to share her story as an engineer entrepreneur and a single mom who passed lots of challenges to become succeed in her business.
She has received the “Fearless, Girls with Dreams, Women with Vision! ” book form Irene Sterian, Preisident & CEO at Remap Network.

Shohreh Sabaghpour was elected at the Iranian Women Organization of Ontario (IWOO) AGM 2019 as a board of director.
Following her passion in supporting women business owners in Iranian Canadian community, She initiated the Entrepreneur Committee to help entrepreneurs by hosting monthly webinars.

Iranian-Canadian Women’s Leadership Conference
Tirgan is collaborating with the Iranian American Women Foundation (IAWF) to host the first Iranian-Canadian Women’s Leadership Conference with a focus on women with Iranian origins. This event, held at the prestigious Aga Khan Museum, will be IAWF’s first international conference followed by London (UK) in September 2017.

Women in business share their stories at Staples locations across Canada on International Women’s Day
TORONTO, March 6, 2017 /CNW/ – On International Women’s Day, March 8, Staples Canada will host a series of community events at stores across the country to recognize women making strides in business. Over 300 Staples store locations spread across 11 provinces have reached out to their respective communities to identify and showcase successful women in business or entrepreneurs who will share their stories with members of the community.
Other events will be held at Staples locations on March 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will provide knowledge, opportunities and support for women looking to thrive in their own areas of business and entrepreneurship. Guests will have an opportunity to talk one-on-one with local women in business, network and forge long-standing relationships with other entrepreneurs from their community.

October was Women’s History Month, and a time period for the nation to celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of incredible women across the country.
I wanted to take this opportunity to honor the outstanding women of Richmond Hill and the impact that their contributions have on our community each and everyday.
Richmond Hill is a better place because of the incredible and consistent efforts of our honorees, whom our office and the office of Minister Patty Hajdu were able to personally acknowledge at a gathering held at the Constituency Office on Sunday, October 30th. We look forward to building upon and supporting the amazing work that you do for us all.
